Coega Door of Hope

One of the projects that we are supporting is the Coega Door of Hope. It is run by Gladys who looks after 30 children from ages 10 months to 21 years. She is their mother and father, she feeds them, makes sure that they go to school and have a secure life. Their major need is long term financial support and in addition their home is in need of TLC. The home is located at: 33 Milner Road, Sydenam, Port Elizabeth. Boxmore is proud to be making a difference.

Boxmore Cares 2010

Staff from Boxmore Harrismith help the Maluti Child Care initiative

Staff from Boxmore Harrismith enjoyed a fun filled afternoon with the children of the Maluti Child Care initiative. Katleho Tahile a Boxmore employee who moonlights as a DJ provided the kids with the "groove to move to". Father Christmas arrived with Boxmore employees to beautiful smiles and helped the staff distribute gifts, cold drinks and Party packs. CEO Clynt Levin has encouraged Boxmore employees to help the Maluti Child care initiative as much as possible, even if it means sponsoring of their time to bring a smile to the children's faces. He also said that even though we provide monthly contributions towards ensuring the children are able to get food, Christmas is the time of giving and we wanted to do something special for the children. He would like to thanks all the employees who helped make the event a success, and a special thanks to Cooee for sponsoring the cool drinks and to Tiger Brands for the sweets.

Boxmore CEO Clynt Levin Volunteers in Aids Awareness Campaign

On world aids day, Clynt Levin, our CEO, took the bold step of having himself tested for HIV in an effort to encourage all employees to KNOW THEIR STATUS. He took responsibility to lead the way. His efforts did not go in vain, with the number of tests tripling from last year. Apart from the HIV tests, red ribbons were given to all employees to wear. This was a means of showing our solidarity with the fight against HIV. Pamphlets and literature was also distributed in the canteen to increase awareness around the issues related to HIV.
